Fernando Tatis Jr. passed another milestone last night, becoming the fifth-fastest player to reach the mark as he sent his 50th home run over the right field wall en route to helping his team put a whopping 16 runs on the Mariners inside Petco Park on Friday night. Some may see the final score of 16-1 and think it was a bit of an overkill, but not this team. Unwritten rules be damned.
Tatis finished two-of-four at the plate with four RBIs, two runs scored, and a walk. Trent Grisham and Jake Cronenworth each joined him in going yard, as well.
