Tatis leaves early as Padres fall to Cubs 4-3

Chicago’s Patrick Wisdom went yard for the third time in the past two games and the Cubs continued to pile on the home runs in what ended up being a 4-3 decision at Wrigley on Monday afternoon. The Padres dropped their first series in three weeks and the loss was only made worse when Fernando Tatis Jr. was taken out of the game early with what’s being described as “oblique tightness.”

Speaking of home runs, over the past two games, only one run has been scored via a non-home run. Wil Myers hit an RBI single to score the first points of Sunday’s game and it’s been nothing but deep shots since.
