Talking with ... Padres rookie Ty France

Padres third baseman Ty France was a 34th-round pick in 2015 out of San Diego State, where he played college ball for three years. The past homestand was his first extended time back in San Diego and he celebrated with his first career home run off one of the Mets’ hard-throwing aces.

France: It was a pretty surreal moment to get the first one out of the way.
