Friars on Base has assembled its own lineup and batting order that, we think, will give the Padres their best chance to succeed down the stretch.
Michael, Vikram, and Lawrence analyzed three positions each, giving their thoughts and opinions on the players who they chose. Of course, some positions are much harder to project than others, such as center field and second base vs. shortstop and third base.
Most importantly, we wanted to take a stand, using an analytical approach to study the players’ performances thus far and decide who should start.
