Clayton Richard continued to build upon his strong month of May. Over his five starts this month, he earned four wins and compiled a 3.27 ERA. Impressively, Richard went at least six innings in each start, saving a bullpen that is among the league leaders in innings pitched this season. He also gave up just one home run. Over the course of the season, Richard has thrown 107 innings and has held hitters to a .244 average against him.
