Which means there might not be a favorite, as the organization’s decision makers meet Friday to decide whether they will offer the job to Jayce Tingler or Ron Washington.
The two finalists for the job were in town the past two days. They were the only ones among seven interviewed by General Manager A.J. Preller to be invited for second interviews.
Their visits included dinner with Executive Chairman Ron Fowler and General Partner Peter Seidler. Tingler was taken to Baci on Wednesday and Washington to Del Frisco’s on Thursday.
