PEORIA, Ariz. —
The Padres gathered Friday morning at the Peoria Sports Complex and tried to attack their present and assess their future amid an atmosphere of unknown.
On the first day after spring training was halted and Major League Baseball announced the start of the season would be delayed at least two weeks, the Padres were at the team’s facility for an unusual day of business as usual.
They met as a group in the clubhouse for an update that was basically that there will be more updates coming. They heard from one of the team physicians.
