The Padres seem to be making all of the moves this offseason, and their latest one grabs another notable arm for the bullpen.
On Monday afternoon, ESPN’s MLB insider Jeff Passan broke the news that San Diego is acquiring right-hander Joe Musgrove from the Pirates in exchange for a large package of prospects, including center fielder Hudson Head. As of now, the deal is still pending medical reviews.
The trade for Musgrove is pending medical reviews, per sources, and will be sending a large package of prospects back to the Pirates.
