Padres rally to beat Giants in extras, 3-2

The San Diego Padres scored three runs in the final two innings of their game against the San Francisco Giants and won 3-2 in their second consecutive extra-innings game at Oracle Park, Tuesday.

Jackson Merrill started the top of the 10th inning at second base and Gavin Sheets came to the plate looking to put his team in front. He just missed a home run and a potential double down the line to right field before grounding out. Merrill remained at second base and Xander Bogaerts took his shot to give the Padres the lead. He grounded out as well, but Merrill advanced to third.
