The Don Welke On Deck Classic is a three game series at Petco Park that marks the end of the Padres prospects Instructional League season.
This event is now named after Don Welke, who was the Padres Vice President of scouting operations. Welke passed away last September.
The Padres prospects took on the Rangers prospects in the series starting on Tuesday.
Although the Padres lost the series, the prospects were able to show off their talent and what the Padres future will look like.
