Park at the Park at Petco Park has a new name: Gallagher Square.
The rebranding of the 2.7-acre park beyond the fence in left-center field comes as part of a multiyear partnership with Gallagher, the Padres announced Friday.
Gallagher is a global insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services firm.
The deal makes Gallagher the Padres’ official insurance broker, benefits consultant and risk management services partner. In addition to exclusive naming rights to Gallagher Square, the company also has naming rights for The Gallagher Chairman’s Club, a new premium entertainment area located next to the Padres’ ownership suite.
