Albert Pujols becoming the next manager of the San Diego Padres is inching closer to becoming a reality. What was once a faded dream, all signs are now pointing toward the 45-year-old slugger taking over for San Diego. It's just a matter of time, but we'll wait before completely celebrating.
Two of the other organizations seemingly interested in Pujols were the Los Angeles Angels and the Baltimore Orioles. The Halos quickly hired Kurt Suzuki, then last night in a bit of a shocker, the O's announced that they hired Craig Albernaz as their next manager.
