After it initially sounded like he might be able to avoid going on the DL with tendinitis in his left wrist, San Diego Padres’ CF/1B Wil Myers has been placed on the 15-Day Disabled List.
According to Bill Center at the Padres Official Blog, the decision was made after Tuesday’s batting practice where Myers was deemed not ready to play. Since Myers was placed on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 11th, he will be eligible to return on Monday.
