The MLB trade deadline is just over 24 hours away, and the San Diego Padres haven't done much yet to rectify their roster needs. One of their most glaring blemishes is in left field, although they did (unsuccessfully) try to make a deal with the Red Sox to nab Jarren Duran.
There are still plenty of other options out there for San Diego, whether it be an All-Star like Steven Kwan, or maybe an under-the-radar move in Ramon Laureano. Either way, the Padres need to do something, and perhaps they could shift their focus onto Twins' super utility man Willi Castro, who several teams are currently interested in.
