On July 26th, the Padres returned home to Petco Park to play the San Francisco Giants in a three-game series. Only winning one of the last three games, the Padres have been hurting for a win. It was a tie game all the way through the 11th inning, but unfortunately the Padres couldn’t win the game.
On the mound tonight was a Padres favorite, Joey Lucchesi. Lucchesi is one of the more reliable pitchers that the Padres have, and tonight he showed us just why we love him. Pitching 6 innings only giving up 1 run.
