Padres setup man Joaquin Benoit has been dealing with a "dead arm," manager Bud Black said before Saturday's game against the Rockies.
Benoit hasn't pitched since Monday, when he entered in the eighth against the Astros, allowed three runs on two hits and two walks and left without recording an out.
