Usually coaching staffs don’t take this long to fill but as long as this is the right staff for Mike Shildt then that’s all that matters. Ruben Niebla, Ben Fritz, David Macias, Brian Esposito and Peter Summerville are returning after spending a various number of years with the Padres on the major league coaching staff.
