New Padres outfielder is already making his presence felt

The San Diego Padres didn’t make many subtle moves at the 2025 trade deadline, and outfielder Ramón Laureano is already proving why that was the right call.

Just days after acquiring Laureano from the Baltimore Orioles in a buzzworthy trade deadline deal, the 31-year-old is making an immediate impact in San Diego’s lineup. In his first four games as a Padre, Laureano has gone 5-for-16 (.313) with a .625 slugging percentage, one home run, two RBIs, and a pair of runs scored, all while slotting into a lineup in need of another right-handed spark in the outfield.
