SAN DIEGO -- Padres manager Andy Green indicated that Wil Myers could be activated from the 10-day disabled list on Monday, the first day the outfielder is eligible to return from a left foot contusion.
"He was out moving around, doing some defensive work earlier today. He needs to check the box running the bases," Green said. "I fully expect to see him back here very, very quickly. I don't want to put a deadline on Monday because if he goes out and runs the bases today and it doesn't feel good, then we might back off a little bit.
