Despite the Padres looking to make a deep playoff run in October, it is never too early to look ahead at free agency. In an article released by MLB expert Joel Reuter of Bleacher Report, he predicted the Opening Day rosters for all 30 teams, and there could be a huge move on the way for San Diego.
The Padres have players such as Luis Arraez, Ryan O’Hearn, and Dylan Cease, among others, all set to hit free agency. A.J. Preller might dream of a scenario where he could retain everyone, but that would be almost impossible.
