The San Diego Padres loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. The Los Angeles Dodgers went to Anthony Banda out of the bullpen and he got Luis Arraez to pop out to first base and Manny Machado to ground out to shortstop to get out of the inning and keep the Dodgers in front.

The Padres did not get another scoring opportunity over the final two innings and Los Angeles took a three-run win, and a series win over San Diego at Petco Park, Wednesday.
