Shortstop Justin Lopez hit his team-leading sixth homer and Joey Cantillo threw five shutout innings, leading low Single-A Fort Wayne to a 4-0 win at Bowling Green on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old Lopez is hitting .226 with a .671 OPS. He was 1-for-2 before an early exit from the game.
Cantillo, a 19-year-old left-hander struck out four and allowed only one hit in dropping his ERA to 2.20. He is 4-2 on the season with 63 strikeouts, an 0.94 WHIP and a .168 opponent average in 49 innings at Fort Wayne.
