Logan Allen rebounded in a big way Wednesday in the Midwest League.
Coming off his worst start of the season, the 18-year-old left-hander struck out four over four scoreless innings in low Single-A Fort Wayne’s 1-0 loss to Lansing in 10 innings.
Allen allowed two hits and a walk in lowering his ERA to 2.33. Last week, Allen – one of the four prospects received in the Craig Kimbrel deal – allowed three earned runs in four innings while piggyback other starters to keep govern his pitch-count.
Right-hander Gerardo Reyes (2-1, 3.12) allowed a run in extra innings to suffer his first loss of the season.
