Minors: Campusano hits 15th homer, Cantillo and Edwards earn Midwest awards

The California League co-MVP isn’t quite done with his season.

Catcher Luis Campusano belted his 15th homer and drove in three runs on three hits, helping high Single-A Lake Elsinore past Lancaster, 12-4, on Friday night at The Hangar.

A second-round pick in 2017, the 20-year-old Campusano is leading the Cal League with a .320 batting average and has paired 75 RBIs with a .899 OPS. He also hit his 28th double Friday night.

Campusano had help Friday.
