The Padres have agreed to terms with two more draftees – 11th-round left-hander Mason Feole and 17th-round catcher Jared Alvarez-Lopez – ahead of Friday’s deadline.
Feole, a junior at Connecticut, signed for $135,000. Alvarez-Lopez, a high school senior out of Cypress Ranch (Texas) High, signed for $160,000.
The last two additions rounds out the Padres’ 2019 draft class at 32 draftees and one non-drafted free agent (Sam Williams).
Feole was ranked No. 163 in the draft class by MLB.com before a forearm issue limited him during his junior season. The 6-foot-2, 184-pound left-hander was 3-4 with a 4.
