On August 5, 2019 the Padres played the Seattle Mariners in the first of a short two game series. Coming off a brutal series against the Dodgers, the Padres needed a victory under their belt.
On the mound today was Dinelson Lamet, he gave up four walks in the first three innings. Lamet found his groove and in the 4th and was lights out from then on. The fans were on a “no hitter watch” into the 7th inning, when Lamet finally gave up Seattle’s first hit.
