Kinsler (!) leads potent Padres offense to 11-2 win over Braves

I’ve spent a lot of time and energy bashing Ian Kinsler’s complete lack of offense this season. After getting two hits yesterday (with some gaffes on the basepaths to even things out), the San Diego Padres veteran second baseman decided to destroy the Atlanta Braves with his bat today.

I bet Ted Leitner gave that one a hearty “BYE-BYE!”

And once the rest of the Padres realized they were being outhit by a guy with a .151 batting average before the game, they woke up...

You read that right.

The fifth inning was a fun one.
