Is Travis Jankowski for real?

San Diego Padres outfielder Travis Jankowski is hitting .342 on the season with seven steals and is still available in over 65 percent of ESPN leagues. No one expects him to hit well over .300 all season, but is Jankowski going to provide enough fantasy value to merit consideration in shallow mixed leagues moving forward, or is he still just a deeper league play for those in need of speed?

Tristan H. Cockcroft: Jankowski is a plug-in, nothing more, and I'd be apt to check the Forecaster base running matchups on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis before I'd even declare him a "go" at that -- though I'll point out that I've written him up in the Week 9 column as a worthy play because his grades in that department lean favorable.
