The Major League Baseball community is currently shook to its core. Rob Manfred, the league's commissioner, spoke on the broadcast on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball last night to talk about expansion and how it would impact the divisional alignments as we know it.
The Padres, desperate to get away from the Los Angeles Dodgers, would likely still remain in the same division as their NL West rivals. Though not ideal, we could see a major shake-up among other teams currently in San Diego's division.
