Hedges debuts, Padres lose 2-0, but don't get no-hit.

You'd be excused if in the early goings of this Padres-Giants tilt you didn't notice that Madison Bumgarner was holding San Diego hitless. Part of that was because the Padres were putting some runners on base early. Wil Myers got on due to an error to lead off the game. In his second at bat he walked and advanced to second on a throwing error by Bumgarner that occurred on a pickoff attempt. Jedd Gyorko would get on by an error to start the 5th. Meanwhile, for Padres fans, Tyson Ross' pitching struggles served as an ample distraction.
