Dylan Cease deals, Padres beat Dodgers

Dylan Cease had the start the San Diego Padres needed him to have against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Petco Park, Tuesday. Cease held the Dodgers without a run and completed seven innings to help the Padres get an 11-1 win.

Cease flirted with danger throughout his start. He only allowed three hits, but walked five Los Angeles batters. Cease allowed three of his five walks in the top of the third inning and the Dodgers loaded the bases. With two outs, Cease got Teoscar Hernandez to strikeout.

The Padres started a two-out rally in the bottom of the third.
