Justin Prybutok lives in San Diego, attended law school in San Diego, works as an attorney in San Diego. But at the All-Star Game Tuesday night at Petco Park, his jersey and ballcap proclaimed his enduring allegiance to his childhood team.
“You are born into being a Phillies fan,” said Justin’s father, Benjamin, 58, also decked out in Phillies regalia.
“For life,” said Justin, 27.
There was no shortage of Padres fans at the sold-out game, as evidenced by the stadium-shaking roar that greeted the team’s starting All-Star, Wil Myers.
