The City of Peoria has announced ticket refund parameters for spring training games canceled as the coronavirus epidemic sweeps through North American sports leagues.
Twelve games scheduled to be held at the Peoria Sports Complex, a joint spring training home of the Padres and Seattle Mariners, are eligible for refunds, from March 12 through March 23, via the following methods:
- Tickets purchased at mariners.com, padres.com or phone orders through Tickets.com will be automatically refunded;
- Tickets purchased at the ticket office via credit card, including group sales tickets, will be automatically refunded;
- Remaining tickets purchased as part of spring training ticket packages via credit card will be automatically refunded;
- Season ticket and group ticket sales purchased via cash or check will be refunded via check by mail;
- Single game tickets purchased via cash at the ticket office will require a form (found here) to be returned via mail with the ticket purchased; cash refund forms must be postmarked by May 1, 2020;
- Tickets purchased through third-party vendors (StubHub.
