It was an interesting day yesterday on the Padres farm. The day included extra innings, seven runs in a single inning, and Padre affiliates playing each other. Oh boy!

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, the El Paso offense was on fire last night. They exploded for a seven-run sixth inning. The Chihuahuas (74-52) accumulated 15 hits in their blowout of the Grizzlies (55-71). Maybe surprisingly, they only hit two homers.
Rodrigo Orozco led the pack with three RBIs, including a triple. Aderlin Rodriguez and Austin Allen each drove a ball out of the park and ended the day with two RBIs.
