On a recent episode of the CBS Sports’ Fantasy Baseball Today podcast, Padres general manager A.J. Preller joined the show to discuss the plethora of moves made by the team so far this winter and shared some thoughts and insight into expectations for the 2021 season.
Obviously the biggest acquisitions discussed were the deals to get pitchers Yu Darvish, Blake Snell, and Joe Musgrove. On top of that, the Padres also signed budding Korean star Ha-Seong Kim.
The additions to the bullpen are always a welcome sight, especially for fans who watched their chances at a run to the Wild Series cut drastically following injuries to both Mike Clevinger and Dinelson Lamet ahead of the 2020 postseason.
