MVP: Gary Carter, Expos.

Highlight: Morris and Len Barker combined on four shutout innings for the AL before the game reverted to a familiar script, the NL rallying for its 10th straight victory. Solo homers by Gary Carter in the fifth inning and Dave Parker in the sixth gave the NL a 2-1 lead. The AL came back with two runs in the bottom of the sixth to go back up 3-2.
