The improbable snow storm that has taken over San Antonio has me holed up in my home for the last 48 hours. Schools have been canceled. Businesses are closed. The Catholic church even suspended Ash Wednesday.
We are lucky to have power. We are lucky our water began to trickle back on. We have additional family staying with us whose power has been out.
The Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center is opening up for people who have no heat and electricity. The San Antonio Food Bank is serving meals.
San Antonio is staying strong and looking out for one another.
