DALLAS – With such greats as Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, David Ortiz, Alex Rodriguez, Peyton Manning and Vin Scully calling it quits, 2016 will be remembered as the year of big-name retirements in sports.
Looking ahead to 2017, SportsBettingDime.com on Wednesday released its list of big-name favorites to retire from the NBA after this season. The top three along with their betting odds are: Paul Pierce (1/60), Dirk Nowitzki (1/12) and Manu Ginobili (1/4).
Ginobili’s odds mean you would have to bet $400 to make $100.
Although Ginobili has declined to discuss how much longer he will play, he indicated his 15th season, at least to this point, doesn’t feel like his last.
