Major news dropped around the NBA on Wednesday, when the Golden State Warriors announced that star forward Kevin Durant will be out for at least four weeks with a sprained MCL and a bone bruise on his left leg.
Durant suffered the injury in the first quarter of Tuesday night's 112-108 loss to the Washington Wizards when Warriors center Zaza Pachulia fell backward onto his leg.
While it hasn't been ruled out that Durant could return before the end of the regular season, the Warriors have already reached out to veteran forward Matt Barnes, who, according to ESPN, will sign with the team later this week.
