USA Basketball is venturing into esports. This weekend, 30 top NBA 2K players were invited participate in virtual tryouts.

Basketball coaches, managers, and a NBA 2K League community ambassador will chose the members of the team. Thirty players will be broken into six teams and play a “round robin” tournament. A team of five starters and two reserves who are American citizens over the age of sixteen will be chosen.
