Tony Parker is a six-time All Star and a four-time NBA champion, yet the Memphis Grizzlies keep giving him open looks when they collapse on Kawhi Leonard in the teams’ first-round playoff series.
After the Spurs practiced Wednesday, Parker was asked if after everything he’s accomplished in his career, he views being left open as a sign of disrespect.
“No, it’s about team,” Parker said. “You have to make choices. When we play at Golden State, we have to make a decision. You can’t stop everything.”
In Game 1, Parker had 18 points on eight-for-12 shooting.
