DeMar DeRozan is preparing for his second season with the San Antonio Spurs after he came to Texas from Toronto in the Kawhi Leonard trade.
DeRozan had a solid but unspectacular first season with the Spurs averaging 21.2 points per game with 6.2 assists and 6 rebounds.
While his per-game averages looked pretty good, his efficiency numbers fell off a bit from his time with the Raptors as he had his lowest player efficiency rating (19.6) and true shooting percentage (54.2%) since the 2014-15 season.
He also continued to struggle on the defensive end of the floor ranking 52nd among 107 shooting guards in defensive real plus-minus.
