MINNEAPOLIS – Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge credits his faith with helping him stay calm during and after his heart scare two weeks ago.
“God is good,” he said after scoring a game-high 26 points in the Spurs’ 100-93 win over the Timberwolves on Tuesday night. “I am a man of faith and I believe that what’s meant to be will be.
“I’ll always have faith in God, in the plan. God has my back. I’m just happy to be playing.”
In the four games since he returned to action after an occurrence of minor heart arrhythmia sidelined him for two games, the Texas-ex is averaging 21 points on 48.
