The Austin Spurs will have a trio of reinforcements for their Development League season opener.
The NBA’s Spurs have assigned rookies Bryn Forbes, Davis Bertans and Dejounte Murray to their D-League affiliate, in time to get them some playing time against the Oklahoma City Blue this afternoon.
They could probably use the work.
Forbes has appeared in six games with the Spurs, avergaing 1.2 points. Bertans has made seven appearances, averaging two points and shooting 31.3 percent. Murray, the Spurs’ first-round pick in June, has played in five games while averaging 1.6 points and hitting 25 percent of his shots.
