SAN ANTONIO – Rookie point guard Dejounte Murray was in charge on the court when the Spurs finally caught up with the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.
Down by 28 in the second period, the Spurs forged an 88-88 tie with 9:36 left sporting a lineup that included Murray, Danny Green, David Lee, Jonathon Simmons and Kyle Anderson.
Murray logged seven of his 13 minutes in the fourth quarter of the 114-104 win while starter Tony Parker watched from the bench.
Murray finished with four points and three assists. Two of those helpers came when he fed Lee for buckets early in the fourth.
