SAN ANTONIO – All signs point to Spurs reserve guard/forward Jonathon Simmons returning to action Tuesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder after missing the last three games with a sprained right wrist.
The Spurs upgraded Simmons from out to questionable Monday. He participated in shootaround Tuesday morning and one of his teammates suggested the Houston product will be active against the Thunder.
The Spurs have posted a 1-2 record while Simmons healed from the injury he sustained in the win at Brooklyn on Jan. 23.
“We missed him,” Spurs backup point guard Patty Mills said.
