For the first time this season, I'm nervous about the upcoming stretch of games that the Spurs are going to have to work their way through. It's the injuries, man. There have been so many of them; it's like constant hits to an armored car. Eventually, the protection is compromised, and things go awry. San Antonio's loss to Phoenix could just be the first real hit to penetrate, with more to come.
They've played most of their opening schedule at home, and that's afforded them a benefit they took advantage of. Going out on road trips requires a little more fortitude.
