Devin Vassell has been red-hot from three-point range lately, and it’s becoming more and more clear that the San Antonio Spurs should keep him out of trade talks. He fits well with their current roster. They’re one of the best teams in the NBA, and they don’t really need to trade him to improve. Vassell fits nicely.
Over the summer, and whenever Giannis Antetokounmpo or another superstar gets brought up in trade talks, Vassell’s name was thrown around in trade rumors. Or, at the very least, people were using him as salary filler in their potential mock trade ideas to bring Victor Wembanyama a co-star.
