Make way San Antonio Spurs, there’s a new pro team in the Alamo City.
Spurs Sports and Entertainment unveiled San Antonio’s new United Soccer League team’s name, logo at the AT&T Center recently, naming the team “San Antonio FC.”
However, the logo of the new soccer team has another logo in it which is quite familiar throughout the NBA – the Spurs’ logo – which represents Spurs Sports and Entertainment who are team owners.
The five stripes represent the five branches of the armed forces and the fact San Antonio is home to many military bases.
