For those of you fortunate enough to attend Wednesday night’s game, you know the theme was Homecoming. As in a high school homecoming, complete with marching band, homecoming king, and photo opportunities. The non-game theatrics involving everyone’s favorite mascot The Coyote kept the audience entertained throughout the evening.
But it was really about bringing everyone back to the AT&T Center to kick off what has the potential to be a majestic year of NBA basketball.
After the mounting uncertainty behind the inability to lock Lonnie Walker IV into an extension, it was great to see him to take to center court before tip off to greet the crowd.
